“The music of photography”
-Andrew Price
I fell in love with landscape photography driving around New Mexico one day in 1992. It was then I took the photos that set my style and made me want to take more: photos that have music-like qualities (harmony, rhythm or soul); photos that draw you in because they are authentic, with minimal editing (minor cropping or brightening). Early photos were taken with an SLR; later ones on my iPhone or Sony Ericsson.
Taylor Price, my talented son, carries on the tradition with an equally good eye and similar style; he took one of my favorite photos here (car in the Maine woods). And my muse and wife Katherine Price is not a bad photographer herself!
So enjoy traveling across the world through our eyes for the last 30 years. And click the link in the lower right-hand corner to hear my music along with it.
P.S. My favorite I took is Niagara Falls — you can almost hear the sound of the falls and it is unedited.
